EMS Services
In partnership with Saint Anthony Hospitals (Centura Health Systems), Inter-Canyon Fire/Rescue staffs three ambulances providing Emergency Medical System (EMS) services to our District's residents and guests. Ambulances housed at Stations 1, 2 and 3 respond to between 200-250 medical and trauma calls each year. Our newest ambulance, 683 is stationed along US HWY 285, and is often first on scene to motor vehicle accidents.

In addition to state-of-the art equipment like our Zoll M series patient monitors, Flight for Life and AirLife helicopters are available within minutes of any location within ICFR's District.  Helicopters are staffed with highly-trained flight nurses and paramedics and can transport a patient to area hospitals within minutes.

ICFR's EMS, headed by our Captain Sue Bigler, is staffed by over 35 responders with State and National certifications including First Responders, Emergency Medical Technicians (basic and intermediate), and paramedics. These volunteer medics spend hundreds of hours each year in continuing education training to maintain their skill levels and certifications.

Any time of the day or night, a call to 911 will bring an ambulance staffed with our well-trained medics to your emergency.
